I just followed a link to the Design Dashboard by Marlon Sanders.
It looks pretty cool and of course the sales letter is pure quality as you’d expect.
One thing stopped me in my tracks though, and made me wonder how many sales Marlon is losing by missing a very simple trick.
A line in the sales letter says: “This is the KEY to standing out from the crowd in 2007.”
Hmm. Its 2009.
This might work better: “This is the KEY to standing out from the crowd in <?php echo date(”Y”); ?>.”
(Of course this assumes the page runs through the PHP engine)
Using this tiny little trick means the page is always up-to-date and never requires updating.
